Are you an enthusiastic pharmacy student looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, corporate health benefits environment? In this role, you'll collaborate with experienced Product Managers, work with real-world claims data, and help shape innovative pharmacy benefits management strategies that impact clients and plan members across Canada.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work with Manulife Product Managers to develop, deliver, and maintain innovative pharmacy benefits management strategies and products for our clients and plan members.
- Use Manulife’s claims data to analyze and interpret drug utilization patterns.
- Identify opportunities for employers to protect against excess or waste of prescription medications where necessary.
- Apply strong written and oral communication skills to assist in building business cases for new product development or administrative controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Group Benefits Product to support key projects and initiatives as business needs evolve.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Pharmacy program.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
- Proven analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor information to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Genuine interest in professional development and exploring non-traditional pharmacy opportunities.

Salary range is expected to be between
$39,000.00 CAD - $48,750.00 CAD
The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro-rated over the length of the work-term.
