Intermediate Control Systems Integrator (Honeywell Experion PKS /Safety Manager)

Cybertech Automation designs and implements Industrial Control Systems and Industrial Software for clients spanning multiple industries. By providing an Automation focused workforce (EI&C) and project execution services, Cybertech helps clients implement new control solutions, or simply maintain and upgrade legacy systems.

Technologies the company specializes in includes: SCADA/HMI, PLC, DCS and SIS Control Systems. Cybertech boasts 30+ years of experience working throughout North America via its offices in Edmonton and Calgary Alberta as well as Pittsburgh PA, USA. Milestone projects include full SCADA replacements, nationwide HMI and PLC upgrade programs, migration of critical DCS systems, SIS Upgrades and data integration including advanced analytics.

We are currently seeking a full time Control Systems Integrator that has specific experience working with Honeywell Experion PKS and Safety manager platforms to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate will have Intermediate to Senior experience (7-10 years+ preferred) and experience in the following areas:

  • Experion and/or Safety Manager product experience
  • Hands-on experience with DCS/SIS programming and configuration
  • DCS/SIS systems experience familiarity
  • Electrical/Instrumentation familiarity
  • Control philosophy development, conceptual design, automation planning
  • Control System Design and Specification (IO assignment & hardware allocation)
  • Programming Configuration/HMI (C300/Quick Builder/HMI Display Builder/ Experion / Third Party Communication / FDM / Third Party Integration / Safety Builder / OPC)
  • Testing and On-site Commissioning
  • Experion PKS Server & Stations Configurations, Report Generations
  • Troubleshooting DCS & SIS
  • Networking experience familiarity
  • Industrial Data Communications, designing and troubleshooting communications between various control systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support
  • Develop, maintain and manage relationships with clients, engineers, contractors, etc.
  • Integrate control systems with existing equipment and processes
  • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and support of control systems
  • Prepare documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and training materials
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Cleared and current Criminal Background Check
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Working Conditions:

  • Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break per shift
  • Overtime and/or working weekends may be required
  • Up to 30% travel may be required
