About the role
Contract: August 10, 2026 – April 30, 2027 (180 business days)
We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support a major digital health initiative within the public sector. This role focuses on clinician onboarding, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and validating access to digital health services. It is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with healthcare experience and knowledge of Ontario's health privacy legislation.
Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to clinician onboarding and digital health services. Work with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to validate Health Information Custodian (HIC) information and legal structures. Support business process mapping, business rules definition, and documentation. Develop presentations, briefing notes, reports, and other project documentation. Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and onboarding activities. Assist with issue resolution, reporting, and business analysis activities. Support the migration of clinicians to Ontario digital health services and eReferral.
Must-Have Qualifications ✔ Understanding of PHIPA principles, including consent, collection, use, disclosure, and safeguarding of Personal Health Information (PHI) ✔ General understanding of the roles of Health Information Custodians (HICs) and agents under PHIPA ✔ Experience conducting requirements gathering, business analysis, documentation, presentations, briefing notes, and stakeholder engagement ✔ Strong stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills ✔ Knowledge of the Ontario healthcare system and digital health services/EHR is considered a strong asset
