About This Opportunity
Under the supervision of the POS and Onboarding Supervisor, the POS Coordinator will be the primary owner of the POS spaces within the facility. They will support all incoming and outgoing POS as well as facilitate deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy and POS distribution. Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Distribution departments in order to streamline and manage the POS storage spaces.
For this position, the individual will be based out of our Brampton facility.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain POS rooms for optimal accessibility and cleanliness
- Support community events across various locations to support brand presence
- Assist in the execution and setup of rack displays and POS at retail or event sites
- Present new marketing materials to teams, including setup instructions and usage guidelines
- Divide and organize incoming POS materials onto DSM’s designated shelves using the Supervisor-provided order form
- Coordinate POS shipments with third-party delivery suppliers
- Ensure timely execution of deliveries in alignment with the Van Delivery Schedule
- Monitor inventory levels of POS materials and racks to prevent shortages
- Receive and invoice all incoming POS shipments accurately and promptly
- Provide support for large meetings and functions at the Brampton site; includes setup and takedown of furniture and other logistical duties
- Maintain readiness of POS for internal and external events
- Support onboarding new hires
o Present First Sip presentation to new employees
o Manage full- day set up for onboarding sessions in collaboration with hiring manager
o Deliver Ergonomics training where applicable #CBSAS #LI-IM1
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in business administrative or operational support
- Valid G Driver License and clean abstract
- Post-secondary education or related field is an asset
- Excellent command of MS Office suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dynamic and strong sense of initiative
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Ability to present confidently to teams and stakeholders
- Utilizes problem-solving skills to resolve issues
- Strong work ethic coupled with a "can do" attitude
- Builds and maintains strong business relationships
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Physical Requirements:
Walking for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 50lbs
Reaching, stooping, lifting and bending
