OVERVIEW
As a member of the regional team, the Sales Support Specialist reports to the Sales Support Manager and is responsible for assisting them and sales representatives in their daily sales-generating activities. In addition, this role will support the vision, mission, and Superior Propane's values and objectives by ensuring that all procedures, policies, and processes in place are applied to provide customers with excellent customer service and so facilitate the customer experience with the enterprise.
ROLE-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide ongoing support to the Sales Support Manager and Field Sales Team (Territory Sales Representatives, Key Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, etc) on a variety of systems (Salesforce, ADDs, ATLAS, FSM) Receive and assign new sales leads via Salesforce Monitor tender sites such as Construct Connect, Biddingo, Merx, and NBBON and assign to Field Sales Team for follow-up & support with Request for Proposal/bid documents (HSE & Insurance) Receive and complete net new account, new location, or Change of Ownership setup requests from the Field Sales Team using Salesforce, ADDs & FSM On-boarding, training & continued support of new and existing representatives (refresher training, reminders) Overall Quality Control to ensure accuracy within our systems and setups Weekly & Monthly reporting to and for customers as well as Sales & Operations teams (volume, assets, delivery history reporting) Monthly preparation of the commission statement validation process and subsequent liaison with the Field Sales Team and Financial Analyst Administration and Resolution of account maintenance items to correct inaccuracies (including but not limited to: phone number, mailing address, email address, tank size/quantity, price per litre, Purchase Order, location directions, cylinder reconciliation, active VS inactive delivery locations, account consolidation and credit/rebill requests) Special Projects as required (including but not limited to: tradeshow support, vendor setups, Ad Hoc requests from Sales Leadership, stakeholder calls (administrative portion), fixed price support & marketing team support) Other duties as required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school/GED or equivalent career experience One (1) to three (3) years in a similar role Excellent Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) Experience with Salesforce and ADDs experience is an asset Ability to multi-task and work to multiple deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Business acumen, analytical skills Team player with a customer service focus
SALARY
$49,100 - $61,350 (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
