About the role
We are looking for a Sprinkler Fitter to join our service team. Your work will help our company adequately meet our clients’ expectations and guarantee them fully compliant fire suppression systems.
- You will mainly be responsible for the modification and repairs to existing water-based sprinkler systems.
- You will also respond to service calls from customers and provide training when necessary.
- You will also be required to be on-call on a rotational basis (approximately once every 2 months)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant experience of sprinkler system installation required;
- Certified Sprinkler Fitter or apprentice (Union member);
- Graduate of Sprinkler Inspection training programs (an asset);
- Experience with all water suppression systems, foam systems, gas agent systems and fire pump equipment necessary (an asset);
- Backflow testing certificate (an asset);
- Valid driver’s license;
- Fall Protection (an asset);
- H2S Alive (an asset);
- Lift Training (an asset);
- Ability to work on sites with pre-screening as a requirement;
- Ability to work out of town for extended periods of time.
