About the role
Role Overview
We are looking for a ServiceNow Platform Architect to support the design, standardization, and ongoing improvement of our ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on ensuring best practices, scalable solutions, and alignment with business needs while working closely with developers, admins, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review ServiceNow solutions across core modules.
- Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices and OOTB capabilities.
- Support platform standardization and reduce unnecessary customizations.
- Assist in defining platform architecture and technical guidelines.
- Provide design guidance for: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, Custom Applications.
- Review configurations, scripts, flows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with various cross functional teams to define and determine integration requirements.
- Support ServiceNow upgrades and release activities.
- Troubleshoot complex platform issues and performance concerns.
- Support integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Help design and maintain CMDB structure and CI relationships.
- Ensure data quality and alignment with CSDM principles.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers.
- Translate goals and desired into an architectural roadmap.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and solution planning.
- Mentor junior developers and administrators.
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow upgrade and release management.
- Experience in supporting end to end ServiceNow implementation.
- Hands on experience with: JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies and basic UI Builder.
- Understanding of ITSM processes and ITIL concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints.
- Experience working in Agile / SAFe delivery models.
Preferred Certification
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- One or more ServiceNow CIS certifications (ITSM / ITOM / HRSD / CSM)
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification
- Exposure to AI/ML capabilities such as Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, GenAI
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Relevant Exp. 8+ Years
