Role Overview
The Human Resources Associate supports the day-to-day HR functions of Triumph Group, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, training, and administrative processes. This role is integral to building a strong company culture, supporting compliance with policies and legislation, and helping divisions meet their workforce needs in alignment with Triumph’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Support hiring managers through recruitment processes, ensuring a professional and efficient candidate experience.
- Prepare onboarding materials.
- Coordinate new hire orientations and assist with integration of employees into Triumph’s culture and policies.
Employee Relations & HR Support
- Act as a first point of contact for employee HR inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support the HR team in administering policies such as attendance, dress code, and expense management.
- Assist with maintaining accurate employee records and confidentiality of personnel files.
- Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and internal surveys.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with employment standards, workplace health and safety, and internal policies.
- Assist in drafting and distributing memos, policies, and employee communications.
- Maintain HRIS/BambooHR system data, ensuring accuracy of employee information.
- Support HR reporting by preparing headcount, turnover, and attendance summaries.
Learning & Development Support

Help track employee development, training hours, and certifications.

Coordinate Triumph University sessions, Lunch & Learns, and CPD-credited events.

Assist in gathering feedback and evaluating training effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience

1–3 years’ experience in HR or administrative support, preferably within construction, manufacturing, or related industries.

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Familiarity with HRIS platforms (BambooHR experience an asset).

Basic knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
