The Ministry of Community Safety has an opportunity for a highly-motivated and organized individual to fill term float pool position in laundry and quality assurance at the Regina Correctional Centre (RCC).
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of central laundry and quality assurance. Responsibilities include training, instructing and supervising offenders in the collection, laundering and delivery of inmate institutional clothing and bedding, as well as maintenance of the laundry schedules and commercial laundry equipment.
As the successful candidate, you will have knowledge of human behaviour, the criminal justice system and security procedures as well as WHMIS, First Aid/CRP, communicable disease precautions and material management.
You should also have knowledge of motivational and instructional methods to demonstrate, train and teach offenders. You will also need to successfully complete a security skills/orientation program offered through RCC.

Hours of Work**:**C - SGEU Regulated 37.33 - one day off every three weeks
