Job Mandate
Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, the Systems Analyst is responsible for the ongoing management and enhancement of internal business systems to achieve business goals. The primary mandate of this position is to review and assess the effectiveness of key systems and provide a path forward to remediate and optimize those systems based on business need.
As a part of the Corp Systems team, this role will participate in business initiatives and projects related to operational aspects of our internal applications across Kore and our customers.
Role Responsibilities:
- Review current IT systems, such as network, software and hardware features for any errors or issues.
- Collaborate with employees and department heads to determine which system requirements are necessary to remain efficient.
- Build new systems that address and fix any issues shown in the current systems.
- Create analysis reports that represent the cost-benefit of any proposed upgrades.
- Assist the IT team in implementing any new system that was recently drawn up and approved.
- Test and troubleshoot any recently implemented plans to ensure they're operating efficiently.
- Instruct other employees on how to use these new systems through training programs and documents.
- Submit and implement all systems under strict deadlines and budget restrictions
- Gather and analyze system requirements.
- Design and document systems.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders.
- Ensure system quality and performance.
- Manage system implementation and integration
Working Conditions:
- This role is in Kingston, Ontario
- Hybrid of remote work and office setting
- Office setting - Open, collaborative office space (may vary by location).
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Reliable access to personal transportation is a requirement.
- Must be willing to travel within Canada and the United States and have a valid passport.
Minimum Required Technical Skills / Qualifications
- University or college degree in a related discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent technical training or business experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the workforce performing similar activities.

- General knowledge of email (Exchange)
- Strong knowledge of database systems.
- General knowledge of DevOPS, including Agile.
- General knowledge of programming principles and comfort with using common development platforms and languages.
Certifications
- Although certifications are not required for this role, preference will be given to candidates who hold certifications in Microsoft SQL Server.
Core Technology
Average ability to use and operationally manage the following:
- Operating Systems: Windows, RedHat/Debian.
- Database: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Software Development
General knowledge and ability to use the following is required:
- Python3 · ANSI SQL
- R Statistical Computing Language
- PowerShell
Business Software
General knowledge of the following is preferred but not required.
- Microsoft Office 365 Services, including PowerBI.
