About the role
Landmark Properties and Development Inc. is seeking a seasoned construction project manager to lead and oversee land development projects and beyond, reporting to Vice President of the company.
Duties
The Construction Project Manager’s responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Coordinating with engineers and architects to plan, organize and direct the construction projects according to the project goals;
- Preparing and submitting budget estimates;
- Negotiating and preparing contracts, making necessary changes and revisions as required with architects, consultants, suppliers and contractors;
- Organizing necessary personnel and contractors, assigning duties and supervise their performances;
- Preparing project schedules and milestones, allocating resources logistics to ensure its progress;
- Supervising the purchase of building materials and other supplies to ensure budget control;
- Establishing, implementing and monitoring quality control programs;
- Preparing status schedules and reports to senior management;
- Supervising the obtaining of necessary building permits and licenses for the projects to ensure the projects meet the government code regulations.
Qualifications required:
- Ten or more years of commensurate leadership experience in construction project management;
- Working knowledge of architectural and land development concepts;
- Applicable analytical, organizational and capital project management skills;
- Management of complex capital projects required;
- A good and effective communicator and a motivated team leader;
- Ability to analyze and solve problems and handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision, with flexible hours including nights and weekends;
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
