Why this role matters
As a Sauna, Cold Plunge & Spa Attendant, you are responsible for the daily operation, safety, and atmosphere of our thermal and spa spaces. You are both host and guardian of the experience, guiding guests, maintaining standards, and ensuring the environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
This is a physically active role that requires confidence managing guest flow, enforcing health and safety standards, and performing continuous cleaning and reset tasks while staying guest-focused, calm, and upbeat.
What you'll do
- Host and supervise sauna and cold plunge experiences, ensuring safe and enjoyable use
- Actively monitor guest wellbeing, behaviour, and flow through thermal areas
- Perform frequent cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting of spa, sauna, and cold plunge spaces throughout each shift
- Support spa operations, including treatment room resets, laundry support, and back-of-house tasks as required
- Provide hydration service and guest support according to spa and resort standards
- Lead and assist with sauna rituals and specialized treatments such as venik rituals (training provided)
- Educate guests on safe sauna and cold plunge use, pacing, and etiquette
- Sell retail products and sauna-specific experiences, earning commission
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene protocols with confidence and consistency
- Respond professionally to guest needs, questions, or concerns
- Maintain a positive, energetic presence during physically demanding shifts
What you'll bring
- A fun, energetic, and resilient personality
- Fluent English with clear, confident communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and comfort enforcing safety guidelines
- Ability to perform physically active work, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and frequent cleaning
- Previous sauna, cold plunge, spa attendant, or wellness hospitality experience (strongly preferred)
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Confidence working in wet environments and high-traffic guest areas
- A reliable, accountable, and team-oriented approach
- Full-time position
- Shifts scheduled between 1:30 pm and 9:30 pm
- Availability required Monday through Sunday on a rotating schedule
