ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

#What can you****expect?

The Account Executive ensures business retention and helps establish the growth strategy for the account team. This senior role coordinates and executes day-to-day customer service and quality account management, coordinating across all solution sets to provide the best level of service for the client. He or she services an existing book of business for multiple products, with a focus on increasing account retention and assists the sales team in growing the book of business.

#We will count on you to****assist/manage:

  • Overall responsibility for the team’s revenue budget and accurate forecasting
  • Manages overall client relationship which involves communicating with clients with regards to any account problems and discussing client concerns and suggestions
  • Manages and supervises the client service team
  • Manages the negotiation of management fees
  • Ensure that invoicing is handled timely and that there are no ‘bad debts’
  • Acts as a member for the Bermuda senior management team
  • Sustains overall quality of service and client relationships
  • Acts as the Captive consultant, including partnering on program design and insurance renewals
  • Acts as Director and/or Officer for clients
  • Perform and execute review of financial statements
  • Trains, mentors, and coaches team members
  • Acts as lead for specific projects
  • Partners with Captive Consulting to obtain new and expanded business opportunities, which include new client implementations and strategic reviews
  • Represents and promotes Marsh at industry events and BMA regulatory seminars and briefings

#What you need to****have:

  • Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification with public accounting experience (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA)
  • Minimum of 10 years’ recent experience building relationships with customers in an Account Management and/or Client Services role
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant and recent Captive management experience
  • Relevant and recent experience in accounting, regulatory compliance, and insurance for captives
  • Excellent knowledge of captive industry, investment and insurance accounting, regulatory environment, insurance, and risk management
  • Recent experience in financial reporting under GAAP and IFRS as well as the insurance regulatory environment
  • Expert knowledge of investment and insurance accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of local regulations and procedures
  • Experience with various captive policy structures
  • Experience with Captive tax matters
