Jardeg is recruiting for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with proven skills and certification in Concrete Pump Operation (CCPO) to join theTechnical Workforce Inc. at the Fort Nelson Generator – BC Hydro site near Fort Nelson, British Columbia.

The schedule for this position is 15 days on and 6 days, with 10‑hour workdays. This is aremote position located approximately 15 km south of Fort Nelson, BC, working on a BC Hydro dual‑turbine generator**.** LOA is $180 per day worked.

In this role, you will:

  • Operate different types of heavy equipment including a Putzmeizer 43-meter boom pump in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily inspections; pre and post operational routine inspections of equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures
  • Set up and position the pump truck, including placing outriggers, while adhering to all safety protocols
  • Monitor pump operation and flow rates to ensure efficient and consistent concrete placement is achieved
  • Identify safety risks and hazards on site
  • Communicate effectively with site supervision, truck drivers, contractors, and crew members to coordinate and deliver on pour requirements
  • Read and understand the results and purpose of all gauges and equipment.
  • Perform cleaning, maintenance, minor repairs on the boom pump to ensure proper working condition is maintained

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience operating high-pressure boom pump is preferred
  • Heavy Equipment Operator certification
  • Certified Concrete Pump Operator ticket(CCPO) issued by BCCSA in BC
  • Any other certificates considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Strong understanding of safe pumping practices, site safety, and emergency shut‑down procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand load charts, pump specifications, and site plans
  • Physically fit and able to lift/handle heavy hoses and equipment
