Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Floriculture production. Cold/refrigerated. Hot. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Tasks: Direct greenhouse and nursery operations. Greenhouse cleaning. Mixing fertilizer. Organize greenhouse and nursery operations. Control reported insect, disease and weed problems. Establish and maintain required environment. Establish work schedules. Hire, train and supervise staff. Order materials and stock. Provide product care and other information and service to customers. Supervise staff in planting, transplanting, feeding and spraying. Supervision: 11-15 people. Type of product: Perennials.
