About The Job As Chief of Staff, you’ll work closely with our CEO to help North Horizon invest in a better future. You’ll bring clarity, focus, and momentum to high-impact initiatives, driving strategic execution across the organization.
This role requires both strategic foresight and operational excellence. You will help set priorities, structure key initiatives, and ensure execution across leadership teams. You’ll also help keep leaders aligned, clear roadblocks, and speed up decision-making so the company stays focused and delivers results.
Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic Execution: Partner with the CEO to translate big-picture strategy into actionable priorities and ensure consistent follow-through across the organization.
- Push Key Initiatives Forward: Own and unblock high-impact initiatives, identifying risks early and proactively problem-solving to maintain momentum.
- Decision Support: Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights. Prepare analysis, reports, and recommendations that help the CEO and leadership team move quickly and make confident decisions.
- Executive Alignment & Leadership Effectiveness: Keep leadership aligned, accountable, and focused on key outcomes.Foster collaborative, positive working relationships across the executive team by facilitating open dialogue, identifying friction points, and escalating issues when needed.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a bridge between teams to ensure smooth execution of strategic priorities. Reduce organizational friction and enable leaders to operate at full capacity.
- Scale the CEO’s Impact: Serve as a trusted advisor and proxy for the CEO in key meetings. Help prioritize decisions, streamline workflows, and act as a force multiplier to ensure smooth execution of company-wide initiatives.
- Meeting & Event Facilitation: Organize and lead leadership meetings and events by setting agendas, guiding discussions, synthesizing notes, and ensuring clear ownership of action items.
- High-Impact Communication: Support the CEO in external meetings, board communications, investor relations, and thought leadership. Ensure clear, consistent communication between the CEO, executives, and departments by summarizing key points, channeling information, and addressing communication gaps.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management, finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years supporting C-suite executives, ideally in consulting, financial services, or high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver results.
- Strong analytical and financial skills; able to turn data into clear recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Highest level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
- Highly adaptable with a strong bias for action and problem-solving.
- Able to lead through influence and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
- Comfortable with modern digital tools and open to integrating AI-powered solutions.
- Continuous learner with strong judgment and professional maturity.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in marketing management or stakeholder engagement.
- Experience supporting strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Previous experience supporting senior leadership within a financial services or investment management environment.
