Job Description:

The ServiceNow Solution Consultant provides deep technical experience in implementing best practice solutions that support ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) based processes within the organization. The successful candidate must be able to foster positive relationships, be solution oriented and have a keen attention to detail.

The ServiceNow Solution Consultant will lead end-to-end solution analysis, design, development, and implementation for our client groups.

This role is a 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension or moving to a permanent role.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop, configure, and enhance the ServiceNow platform functions to reflect TSA Service Delivery requirements.
  • Support existing functions, debug and fix technical problems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Document code and application functionality.
  • Provide input into high level and detailed technical specifications for small to medium projects.
  • Assist in prioritizing backlog to ensure the most critical work is being addressed.
  • Assess and communicate risks associated with the change and strategy to mitigate the risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  • Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development ensures your success.

What you bring to the table

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience (scripting, workflows, and integrations)
  • HR Service Delivery development experience is an asset for this role.
  • System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP
  • Proven ability to document technical solutions and build artifacts as necessary.
  • Strong experience in ensuring high degree of development standards are adhered to minimize the risk on introducing errors into the production by following the internal SDLC.
  • Experience in testing, analyzing, collaborating, and assisting with translating business requirements into technical specs to ensure smooth implementation of new enhancements, applications or modules.
  • Experience in loading, manipulating and maintaining data between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • ServiceNow Application Developer certification is preferred.

Compensation:

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
