Administrative Assistant, Academics (CCNM - Toronto Campus)
About the role
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Administrative Assistant.
In this challenging position, you will report to the Manager, Office of Academic Affairs and be responsible for: the proper functioning of the department by providing administrative and clerical support, information management support and records maintenance. Specific duties will include: planning, scheduling and coordinating examinations, responding to inquiries (both in person and electronic), maintaining examination room bookings through MRM, manage timelines and deadlines; and provide general administrative and clerical support to the Accessibility services and Academic team. The incumbent will work alongside the Academics department and will be expected to provide a high level of customer service to students, faculty and staff.
This position will be required to be on-site.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in administration/business or related studies
- Administrative experience in education and/or student affairs are an asset
- Customer service experience is required
- Computer literacy in all range of administrative support programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to interact positively with students, faculty, and staff of the College
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision along with a “team player” attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively– both orally and in writing- with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Excellent organization, time management, analytical and research skills
- Tact, discretion and ability to exercise professional judgment in a highly confidential environment
