The Human Resources Coordinator (Talent & Programs) provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function, while contributing to recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience initiatives. This role maintains core responsibility for HR operations, including records management and coordination, and plays an active supporting role in recruitment processes, onboarding program delivery, employee engagement activities, HR communications, and data tracking. The Coordinator will contribute to improving HR programs by gathering feedback, identifying trends, and supporting the development of effective and engaging employee experiences.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including confidential documentation
- Ensure data integrity within the HRIS (UKG) and support ongoing system usage
- Act as Secretary to the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC): coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain records and intranet content
- Respond to general HR inquiries and provide guidance on policies and programs
- Support the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of HR policies and programs
- Provide coordination and administrative support of firm events and employee engagement initiatives
- Support recruitment processes for assigned roles, including:
- Drafting job postings and coordinating postings
- Screening resumes and coordinating interviews
- Communicating with candidates throughout the process
- Assist in developing interview guides and basic assessment tools to support consistent hiring practices
- Support the delivery of onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires
- Gather feedback from new employees on their onboarding experience
- Identify opportunities to enhance onboarding processes and support continuous improvement
- Assist in preparing and distributing HR communications (e.g., announcements, program materials, internal updates)
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and engaging employee experience through consistent and professional support
- Maintain and track HR data related to recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries to support HR decision-making
- Identify trends or recurring themes in data and employee feedback
- Support the development of metrics and dashboards over time
- Support the development of materials and resources related to recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement
- Contribute to HR projects as required
- Gradually take on increased responsibility for specific programs (e.g., student or early talent initiatives) as experience develops
Qualifications and Experience:
- Human Resources degree or diploma (or related education/experience); CHRP designation complete or in progress preferred
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience in a professional environment
- Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, or HR program coordination is an asset
- Basic knowledge of employment-related legislation (ESA, Human Rights Code, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities

Target Hiring Range: $55,670 to $65,900
