JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Operations Administrator will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support. This role looks after a variety of standard depot procedures including reception, work order and timecard process/verification, data entry, filing, and other assigned duties
RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel

Answer phones and ensure calls are directed appropriately
-
Assist with drafting and editing various forms of written communication, such as emails, letters, memos, and reports.

Responsible for work order and timecard processing and verification
-
Assist with fleet administrative duties, as required
-
Administrative work including preparing and running ad hoc reports, data entry, filing, etc.

Receive, sort, and distribute mail
-
Maintain office including lunchroom, office supplies, general upkeep
-
Other duties as required/assigned to support business needs
QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent
-
3+ years of work in a similar role
-
Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Suite

Strong attention to detail
-
Excellent organizational skills
-
Ability to exercise tact and discretion when dealing with confidential company and client information
-
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
-
Customer service focused and willing to assist where needed to meet business needs

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Comfortable interacting with management, staff, clients, contractors, and consultants
-
Knowledge of Road Construction or Traffic Control industries a definite asset
