As a Clinical Manager, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services to our clients and customers. You will be responsible for the management and oversight of clinical services as part of our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP). What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage a clinical network of service providers in parts of Western Canada
  • Provide management support for other regions as required
  • Provide clinical management of regional provider network
  • Provide consultation regarding clinical services that may include counselling, proactive mental health care, after care planning, assessments, trauma intervention, case management, professional consultation and workshops
  • Support the Regional Director, EFAP with project requests, including providing periodic analysis of product and program development needs, office efficiencies and provider network optimization
  • Occasional on-call response and after-hours shift availability: approximately 1 or 2 times per month
  • Work collaboratively with the Stay at Work team and other departments
  • Minimal travel will be required

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or other related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years counselling experience including 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Must hold a valid certification or registration with appropriate provincial governing body
  • Expertise in solution-oriented counselling and knowledge of EFAP services, including assessment, crisis management services and critical incident response
  • Strong knowledge of process, research and best clinical practices regarding mental health, impact of psychological issues and workplace dynamics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required; French is an asset
  • Excellent people management skills to motivate a performing team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
