Our client, a national-scale business law firm, is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to support its strategic initiatives and data-driven decision-making. Role As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will contribute to the collection, analysis and interpretation of complex data to inform the firm’s strategic decisions. You will work closely with leadership, business development, finance and operations teams to produce high-value insights and dashboards that track performance and identify key trends.
Responsibilities
- Collect, structure and analyze data from internal and external sources
- Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Produce strategic analyses on financial performance, profitability, clients and markets
- Identify trends, growth opportunities and potential risks
- Support business development initiatives through market and positioning analyses
- Collaborate with internal teams to define analytical needs and improve data quality
- Automate and optimize reporting processes where possible
- Present analytical findings clearly and in an actionable manner to stakeholders
- Conduct relevant competitive and sector monitoring
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business intelligence tools and methods
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, finance, economics, statistics, data science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis or a similar role
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment (strong asset)
- Advanced proficiency with analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau or equivalent)
- Strong quantitative analysis and modeling skills
- Excellent ability to synthesize and communicate complex information
- Strategic mindset, rigor and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior professionals
- Autonomy, proactivity and results orientation
- Bilingual (French/English)
