About the role

As a Production Supervisor (Afternoon shift) here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of our afternoon production team. You will ensure that production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. Your responsibilities will include supervising a team of production assemblers and technicians, coordinating workflow, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

You will report directly to our ISC Operations Manager and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our production operations (shared services). By leading and motivating your team, you will ensure that production targets are achieved, and high-quality products are delivered to our internal and external customers. Your commitment to safety and continuous improvement will contribute to a safe and productive work environment, driving the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Completed Post secondary education.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing / Supply Chain / Operations / Logistics. Willing to work afternoon 2nd Shift: 3:00pm -11:00pm. Must be flexible to flex hours to support business needs.

WE VALUE

  • Preferred Post secondary education in Electronics Manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in implementing process improvements and lean manufacturing principles, incl. the ability to troubleshoot processes.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Proven experience of 2+ years in supervising production operations.
  • Ability to multitask and pivot actions based on business needs.
  • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done. Ability to document and train others on manufacturing processes.
