The Delivery and Recovery Driver (Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement) is responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport new products to East Penn Canada customers and to pick up used or defective batteries for recycling. This role directly contributes to customer satisfaction by ensuring timely, accurate, and professional deliveries, while maintaining compliance with all transportation, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up products according to established routes and schedules Load and unload products safely and efficiently – frequent heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs Accurately complete delivery, shipping, and warehouse documentation Maintain professional relationships with customers at delivery locations Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly Follow all company, health & safety, and transportation rules and regulations Occasionally assist with warehouse duties and inventory counts

Experience & Qualifications

3-5 years of commercial delivery driving experience Valid Class 3 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement and a clean driver’s abstract Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively Able to push, pull, or move up to 100 lbs Strong customer service skills and enjoy working with people Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with the ability to confidently provide customers with delivery and product information when requested Comfortable working with mobile technology Strong organization and time‑management skills Able to maintain composure and professionalism at all times 1-2 years of warehouse experience a strong asset Forklift certification and experience transporting dangerous goods are strong assets

Other Considerations

Satisfactory results from background checks including criminal record checks, professional references, and driver's abstracts are a condition of employment
