About the role

Lifeline Clinic is seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information to patients.
  • Maintain and update patient records using the OSCAR EMR system.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, billing, and managing correspondence.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Background in healthcare or medical administration is preferred.
  • Experience with OSCAR EMR system is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of the English language.
  • Professional and compassionate attitude toward patients and coworkers.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
