At Pandosy Village Vet, we care for our patients as if they were our very own! We are committed to offering top quality services for our patients by offering both alternative and conventional medicine . We offer conventional services such as dentistry and surgery, as well as alternative options including acupuncture, chiropractic care, herbal medicine, and nutritional therapies. We like to focus on preventative health while providing pet parents with as much support as possible. Our commitment is to help keep our patients happy and healthy! As an RVT at Pandosy Village Vet, you'll perform various daily duties , such as monitoring anesthesia, assisting in/prepping for dental/surgical procedures, general patient care, obtaining samples for diagnostic purposes and running in-house diagnostics as required. We are open Monday - Saturday, and do not offer emergency after-hours care. We welcome both new graduates and experienced professionals to apply.
As an integrative practice, our work is varied and challenging, and we never stop learning . Our amazing base of committed clients really wants what's best for their pets, and we always strive to provide the best medicine possible .
Our culture is warm, caring, family- and health-focused . Our clinic has an informal, relaxed atmosphere. Education is important to us, so we offer a continued education allowance as well as a uniform allowance for all full-time and part-time staff. Most importantly, we believe in family time and a work-life balance , so we always try to limit overtime work hours, and we close all long weekends for family time!
Our facility is bright and open , with three spacious exam rooms, a daylight surgical suite and brand-new lab machines. Within our warm brick and glass facility we also have a high-end pet store , which our staff enjoy as much as our visiting furry clients. You will be working with three veterinarians and a team of passionate, committed staff.
Our ideal candidate is friendly, enthusiastic, self-organized, and committed to providing optimal patient care . We value a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. We are looking for a candidate who loves to share their knowledge and has a drive to keep learning. About The Role Our candidate must have:
- Animal Health Technician / Veterinary Technician Diploma
- New grads are welcome to apply (Clinical experience preferred)
- Passed the VTNE or will soon be passing the VTNE
- Good standing with their provincial regulatory association
- Be looking for a Part-Time opportunity (16 hours a week, must be open to vacation/sick day coverage and available for Saturdays as needed)
