The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $73,400 - $96,390. The offered salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a Consultant, Sales Support to support our Pacific Zone department. This is a 12 Month Contract opportunity and will report to the Manager, Vehicle Sales. The successful candidate will coordinate all sales management functions to allow field staff to concentrate on dealer operations. The Sales Support will work closely with the Vehicle Sales Manager to monitor inventory levels, provide accurate data and reporting to field staff and TCI management, and advise actions to maximize sales. This individual will also manage Zone communications to dealers and other TCI departments, support internal working groups and monitor competitive activities. Finally, the successful candidate will liaise with the Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to maintain accurate and current information on dealer performance.

What You’ll be Doing:
Inventory Management
- Monitor Zone and Dealer inventory levels and identify potential opportunities and risks
- Answer ASM and Dealer inquiries related to supply chain such as ETAs, vehicle holds and trade history
- Work with field staff to determine and administer the allocation of all specialty product to dealers on a monthly basis (including special editions and supplemental product)
Reporting
- Utilize SAP Business Intelligence (BI) to provide rich data to multiple stakeholders
- Monthly sales reports to dealers and internal TCI departments
- Maintain and enhance existing reporting tools using knowledge of Sales KPIs, Power BI and Excel
- Assist Sales Manager and ASMs in generation of Annual Dealer Review and Objectives (ADRO)
- Assist Sales Manager with monthly sales targets for dealers
Communications
- Coordinate events and meetings within the department and with dealers
- Develop – and occasionally deliver – compelling presentations for dealers
- Administer the department’s virtual communications accounts (email, Teams, WebEx, Zoom, etc.)
- Communicate all national programing to dealers (e.g. Marketing, Toyota University, National Sales)
Marketing and Competitive Analysis
- Monitor and collate competitor sales data and activities
- Create competitor vehicle payment comparisons to assist Dealers with conquest initiatives
- Support the Zone Toyota Dealer Association (TDA) marketing agency, assisting with monthly vehicle analytics and presentations to support advertising campaigns
Other
- Zone contact for Fleet processing and communication
- Provide coverage for ASMs during vacations or absences
What You’ll Bring:
- University degree or College diploma in business or related discipline
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Distribution and product planning experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Self-starter and proactive thinker
- Strong analytical skills, proven to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to come up with new, innovative ideas to solve problems and improve processes
- Advanced Excel skills; intermediate PowerPoint; some experience with SAP BI
- Proven ability to initiate & improve work processes to increase efficiencies
