Escape Trailer is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and confident managing full-cycle accounting responsibilities while supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.
As a key member of the finance team, you will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support overall business operations.

This places us in a high demand market, and we are continuing to grow at a fast pace! We are a customer focused company, and our trailers are manufactured from start to finish at our warehouses located in Chilliwack, BC.
Responsibilities:
- Review transactional activity including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and journal entries for accuracy and completeness
- Perform and own key balance sheet reconciliations including cash, AR, AP, inventory, and accruals
- Ensure subledger-to-general ledger reconciliations are completed monthly
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments
- Analyze variances against budget and forecast with clear commentary and recommendations
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning
- Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls
- Maintain integrity and accuracy of financial data
- Support audits and ensure documentation is audit-ready
- Act as a key support resource to the Assistant Controller and leadership team
Your skills/experience:
- CPA designation completed or in progress preffered
- 5+ years of accounting experience in senior or intermediate accounting role
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical., organizational , and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
