Position Overview: Finning Canada is seeking a Parts Journeyperson to join our great team supporting our client at Albian. This position is responsible for handling a variety of parts counter sales related duties within the branch. Primary responsibility includes developing and maintaining customer relationships, providing sales support for telephone, walk in and shop parts needs, as well as effectively managing all facets of the parts ordering process and system.

Job Description: Major Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers visiting the branch for parts needs
- Answer calls and respond to emails by providing an outstanding level of service
- Manage the customer pickup area located behind the customer service counter and ensure aged parts bare returned to inventory
- Internal field service and walk in customer parts sales orders
- Sourcing and ordering used parts
- Pulling customer and branch parts orders
- Processing parts credits, core inspections and warranty
- Hose building and processing
- Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
- Process customer orders
- Participate in parts related special projects and assignments
- Participate in call quality and performance initiatives as required
- Parts delivery and warehouse duties as needed
Other functions may include but are not limited to:
- NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT parts
- Procurement of non-CAT parts
- Managing backordered parts
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
- A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
- Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
- Requirement to work on Maximo, training will be provided

- This position will work at 14x14 continuous shift rotation based at Albian
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
- Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
