The Opportunity
This role leads the design and delivery of high-impact Business Intelligence (BI) reports using tools such as Power BI, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel. The BI solutions produced will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights, enabling internal stakeholders to make confident, data-driven business decisions.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in BI development, data design, and visualization, with a deep understanding of best-practice reporting lifecycles.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop reports in Power BI based upon internal stakeholder requirements
- Responsible for continuous improvement and mentoring of team members and ‘Power Users’ in BI best-practices and reporting governance standards
- Develop highly effective and visually pleasing BI products
- Directly support data model promotion, certification, Q/A, and product release process.
- Closely work with Data Engineering team and stakeholders for data collection, population, and validation
- Actively respond to user and stakeholder support incidents, usage support and any information regarding product
- Support stakeholders with data and insightful analysis to make data driven decision
- Consult with stakeholders and SMEs regularly to fully support the development lifecycle, modify or enhance BI products. Identifying themes based on requests and raising them with management
- Design scorecards, interactive and analytical visualizations, and detailed reporting
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience.
- Typically requires 5‐7 years of Business Analysis or related technical experience.
- PowerBI certification.
- Experience in the insurance industry and Agile/Scrum would be considered an asset.
