Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions for banking, insurance, and wealth management clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce architecture, integrations, Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and DevOps, along with the ability to lead technical teams and engage with client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce FSC solutions.
- Design scalable data models, security architecture, and API-first integration solutions.
- Integrate Salesforce with core banking, lending, identity, and enterprise systems using REST APIs, MuleSoft, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture.
- Develop and review Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL, and asynchronous processing.
- Define data migration, data quality, consent management, and governance strategies.
- Establish Salesforce DevOps using Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD, and packaging best practices.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, and implementation plans.
- Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and collaborate with business analysts, QA, and architects.
- Work closely with client stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of Salesforce development experience with at least 3+ years in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, OAuth, and SSO.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, Platform Encryption, and Shield.
- Knowledge of Data Cloud, ETL/ELT processes, data migration, and data governance.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Wealth Management domains.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or Platform Developer II certifications.
- Experience with observability tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
- Familiarity with OSFI, PIPEDA, SOC2, or other financial industry compliance standards.
