Job Description As a Registered Nurse, you’ll use a patient- and family-centred approach in providing holistic, quality and safe care to patients within the scope of practice identified by the College of Nurses of Ontario, evidence-based nursing practices and the standards set by Mackenzie Health. What must you have?

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (required).
• Graduate of a recognized diploma/degree program in nursing.
• Nephrology Nursing Certification (C Neph C).
• Completion of Nephrology Nursing Courses.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support, IV therapy, and blood sugar monitoring.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in Hemodialysis (required) and Peritoneal Dialysis (preferred).
• Valid drivers license for the Province of Ontario.
• Access to personal vehicle for the purpose of making home visits required as part of the Home Hemodialysis Program.

• Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.

• Member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (preferred).
• Member of Canadian Nephrology Nurses Association (preferred).
• This position is represented by ONA.
• You may be required to work at any site of Mackenzie Health.
