Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.
The opportunity
We are currently looking to hire a Full time Service Delivery Worker role in the Durham Region.
Starting wage: TBD
Hours: 35 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Using the electronic Quatro Scheduling system, the SDW will develop and revise
ongoing master schedules for both consumer and staff in accordance with the
consumer service and budgeted hours.
- Develop and revise as needed, a master schedule, in accordance with the
consumer service and budgeted hours.
- Provide hours of service monthly reports to Supervisor.
- Ensure consumer-focused service delivery and refer service complaints to
supervisor for follow-up.
- Provide administration support for Programs (i.e. correspondence, file
management, co-ordinate staff meetings, orientation and training etc).
- Payroll processing and verifying of personal expense statements to meet set
deadlines identified by the payroll schedule.
- Carrying the after-hours phone based on a rotating on-call schedule to cover
evenings and weekends for consumers and staff.
Qualifications and experience
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities, older adults, or as
an informal caregiver considered an asset but not required
- Good interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
- Physical Demand Self Analysis required upon hire
- Ability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours
- Scheduling experience an asset
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation REQUIRED
