Janitorial Position (Temporary) - Belle Plaine

About the role
Topa is looking for motivated Janitors to join our team on a full-time temporary basis in Belle Plaine to assist with shutdown. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the janitorial team to clean at the Potash Mine sites.
Position Title: Full-Time Janitorial (Temporary) Location: Belle Plaine Mosaic Mine Site Start Date: TBD Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired
Responsibilities:
- Clean Lobbies, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways of buildings
- Sweep, scrub. Wash, and polish floors and clean rugs
- Dust furniture, wash walls
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of up to 50lbs
- Empty waste and transport to disposal area
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Problem solving Skills
- Ability to Multitask
- Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test
- Experience working in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is considered an asset
- Must have valid class 5 drivers license Safety: Attend and participate in the following exercises:
- Safety meetings
- Tool box talks
- Site inspections
