About the role
The Integration Technician will be responsible for designing and implementing various mechanical and electrical initiatives to improve DVTEST’s presence in the test and measurement industry. Additionally, you will be required to: Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics and wire connection lists Solder to meet IPC-A-610 standards Build Automated Test Equipment (ATE) racks Perform installation of test instrumentation Assemble mechanical and electrical components and systems including cables, RF cables, electrical panels, electrical boxes, mechanical jigs and fixtures Safely use various common hand, power, crimp, and solder tools Safely use precision instruments Perform manual machining and/or CNC Commit to quality, accuracy, and detail Ability to travel to customers on short notice which requires consistent and reliable personal transportation
Requirements 2 – 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with hands on electro-mechanical experience as an Assembler or Product Technician. Diploma or certificate from an accredited technical institute focusing on electronics, electro-mechanical technology, electrical engineering technology, computer engineering, electrical technologist or related discipline. Commitment to quality, accuracy, and detail. Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
