Executive Assistant (Director of Operations - Chatham & Sarnia)

This position provides a broad range of administrative support functions to The Director of Operations (both Sarnia and Chatham).
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for the following functions:

Provides a wide range of administrative and clerical functions and services for the Director of Operations at both Chatham and Sarnia locations.

Maintains filing systems, creating and deleting files as required, retrieving information and ensuring the agency policies regarding privacy are followed.

Records action minutes of Management & various committee meetings as required;

Serves as the staff resource on various internal and external committees and task forces as assigned and represents the organization’s positions.

Maintains and edits all CMHA LK Policy and Procedure Management system (PPM) as required.

Prepares agendas for meetings, correspondence summaries and other items for meetings in consultation with the Director of Operations and ensures items are distributed appropriately.
Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Executive Office Administration or a relevant discipline from a community college.

Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a senior administrative support role.

A valid driver’s license, and use of a vehicle, which will be used in conducting agency business.

Experience working in a unionized environment would be an asset.

Preference will be given to a qualified candidate who is proficient in both official languages.
Hours of Work: 35 hours/week, The incumbent will work at both locations rotating days in Chatham and Sarnia. Flexible hours are required to meet the position requirements. (Position home base will be determined with the successful candidate).
Salary: Commensurate with experience, inclusive of HOOP.
