🚀 About the Role: Manager, Sales Development

We’re growing - and we’re hiring a Manager, Sales Development to join our Sales team! In this role, you’ll help us develop top sales talent, drive pipeline growth, and optimize sales processes within a dynamic and supportive environment. You’ll lead our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team and report directly to the SVP of Sales , playing a key role in shaping the future of our sales organization.

You’ll collaborate closely with teammates across Sales., Marketing, Customer Success and Product, contribute to a high-trust environment, and play a direct role in shaping the future of the industry.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Lead and develop a team of SDRs: Recruit, hire, train, and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to a team of early-career sales representatives to ensure their success and career progression.
  • Drive and optimize the sales pipeline: Develop and implement effective outbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads and fill the sales pipeline to meet or exceed company quotas.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, lead volume, and activity metrics. Use data-driven insights to provide feedback, improve team performance, and forecast sales accurately.
  • Enhance sales processes and tool utilization: Manage the day-to-day use of CRM software (Salesforce or HubSpot) and other sales engagement tools to ensure efficiency, data integrity, and best practice adoption.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align strategies, optimize lead generation, and ensure a seamless handoff of opportunities.

🔍 What You Bring

Some of the qualities that help you thrive in this role:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Account Executive OR 2+ years of experience as an SDR or Sales Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a SaaS sales environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in outbound prospecting.
  • Moderate to expert proficiency with either Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The desire and passion to lead and develop early-career sales representatives.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management abilities.
  • Comfort working independently and asynchronously, while also prioritizing collaboration and connection with people
  • Experience (or excitement for) working with AI
  • Bonus: Familiarity with the promo industry or creative agencies

💰 Compensation & Perks

We believe in paying fairly and being proactive about ensuring our team is rewarded growth and innovation. We value unique contributions and being a place where people can grow and do the best work of their careers. New team members start at $80,000 to $90,000 CAD base salary , with the initial offer based on experience, with an uncapped variable commission target of $50,000 CAD, annually . The OTE for this role is between $130,000 and $140,000 CAD.

New hires are expected to come in at the midpoint of this range. If we agree that it’s a good fit, we will have open discussion around what’s possible.

🌎 Location

This role is open to candidates eligible to work in Canada , with the exception of Quebec (we’re not set up to operate there yet — désolé!).

We’re remote-first, but if you’re based in Toronto, even better. That’s where we were founded and where we maintain our HQ today!
