WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Workforce Systems Specialist is the system designer, architect and builder of designated non-HRIS systems within the People Services portfolio. This currently includes the LMS platform, UKG and Vocantas. The Specialist c
ollaborates with various stakeholders, including schedulers, Human Resources, leaders, and educators to ensure the smooth operation of the various platforms. This role will build reports, data views and queries as requested and required. This role also supports
STEGHnet and SharePoint Business Process Workflows using Microsoft 365. The Specialist will also e
ducate and inform stakeholders on workflows, process improvement and other technical support and training.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
- Post secondary education in systems analysis, human resources, business, adult learning or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in staff scheduling, system analytics and/or workforce planning.
- Experience in report writing and analyzing/interpreting data
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with system administration and computer software such as UKG, Vocantas, DualCode LMS, Microsoft 365 and related applications.
- Attention to detail with the ability to mitigate errors through regular audits and system enhancements.,
- Possesses technical knowledge and organizational skills to oversee, coordinate and collaborate on complex initiatives.
- Excellent project management, time management and change management skills in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
- Critical thinker with an aptitude for learning, planning and implementation of ideas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop collaborative internal and external relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent communication and customer service with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to uphold STEGH values
- Acceptable attendance and performance record.
HOURS:
The successful candidate will work Monday - Friday (37.5 hours weekly) with a willingness to adjust their schedule to meet the needs of the Hospital.

St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH) is an award winning 179-bed facility dedicated to providing an excellent patient care experience for every patient, every time. STEGH provides comprehensive 24-hour coverage in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Anesthesia, Emergency, Mental Health and Family Medicine.
