About the role

Purpose The Senior Business Analyst Order Fulfillment will support and enhance the planning process for the Canadian Wholesale business by analyzing orderbook & invoicing trends to support informed decisions on network target achievability. This role plays a major part in NAM capacity planning & requires regular collaboration with key stakeholders to align activities and achieve NAM financial goals. This role will also support reporting activities for consistent, aligned and efficient execution to support the NAM Order Fulfillment & Deployment team, covering all NAM scope.

The Wholesale planning function can be very fast-paced, requiring high-impact decisions to be made in a short amount of time. This role is a key supporter in that decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Wholesale target achievement, through analysis of business performance, to support business needs including order classification, conversion rates, target fluctuations and gap plans.
  • Develop comprehensive orderbook analysis to capture trends, changes & relevant call outs that support or create barriers to section/NAM target
  • Work cross-functionally with NAM SCM and CAN Commercial Stakeholders to raise awareness, drive decisions, and take action to create on time availability and fulfillment
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with the Sales, Account & Orderbook Management, Finance, DC Leads & supporting SCM functions
  • Support the timely submission of forecasts for DC network & develop/evolve supporting analysis
  • Creative thinking to drive initiatives to deliver the target & streamline and improve the planning process
  • Helping identify opportunities and risks to the plan, providing actionable recommendations and driving solutions to enhance performance.
  • Evolve/develop standardized reporting practices and tools across cross-functional teams.
  • Supporting the implementation of cross-functional projects including user testing where required

Knowledge Skills And Abilities

  • Excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in supply chain or other planning functions with strong acumen in math & ability to identify trends
  • Ability to leverage data to make informed recommendations that drive business results
  • Strong reporting & analytical skills, ability to work with complex datasets
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
  • At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday.

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • A university degree with emphasis in the areas of business, information systems, logistics or operations
  • Minimum three years of work experience in supply chain management or order fulfillment
  • Good knowledge of SAP and PowerBI
  • Strong user in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Power Query)
  • Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
