We are looking for a Full-time Engineering and Maintenance Coordinator to join our team.

What You’ll Do As a Engineering and Maintenance Coordinator, you will:

  • Developing schedules, work plans, presentations, and compiling reports.
  • Support department budget development, tracking and reporting.
  • Liaise, sync and schedule maintenance activities in conjunction with operational requirements.
  • Coordinate vendor activities, source items or services, and perform invoice reconciliation duties.
  • Maintain the Engineering & Maintenance SharePoint site, including layout, access, calendar, and document storage.
  • Assist Department Managers and Supervisors in the coordination, tracking, and documentation of their activities
  • From time to time you may be asked to assist Operations Coordinators in the performance of their duties, particularly in a spill response situation. This includes the scheduling and tracking of activities, managing ICS documentation in a spill response, work order management, and supporting Operations Supervisors.
  • Utilize and support the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in tracking work, managing assets, implementing PM schedules, generating reports, and achieve intermediate level proficiency.
  • Exhibit a tangible commitment to workplace safety practices and demonstrate through personal conduct, WCMRC’s commitment that safety is a priority at all times.
  • Fully support WCMRC improvements to business processes
  • Organize department meetings.
  • Support departmental travel requirements.
  • Generate various documents to support Engineering & Maintenance activities and maintenance data reporting.
  • Assist Director with vehicle fleet management including acquisition, disposal, and insurance.
  • Coordinate and track various maintenance activities for Department. These may include the change control process on designated assets, documentation changes, campaigns, and execution of action tracker items.

What You Bring

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills with ability to effectively utilize Microsoft applications with proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred

  • Collaborative team player who thrives on coordinating and interacting with multiple people on multiple projects, and who is able to manage shifting priorities. A persistent, resilient, results oriented individual.
  • One to three years of previous experience as a coordinator.
  • Previous experience working on projects is considered an asset.
  • Experience with AI, SharePoint or maintenance software applications an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License in good standing.
