About the role

Infrastructure Ontario (IO), an Ontario crown corporation, provides a wide range of services to support the Ontario government’s initiative to modernize and maximize the value of public infrastructure and realty. IO has been recognized domestically and internationally for the way it does business and the success it has had with its major projects, real estate services, infrastructure lending, commercial projects, and development mandate. IO delivers some of the most complex, ambitious commercial and land development solutions for the Province and continues to evolve and expand its capabilities to maximize its public impact and deliver on its vision of creating a connected, modern and competitive Ontario.

Position Purpose As a Senior Program Relations Advisor, you will coordinate and influence program-level governance and approvals, build collaborative relationships across Infrastructure Ontario (IO), and serve as a credible liaison with ministries, Indigenous communities, municipalities, and other key partners. You will help shape and implement improvements to the Program’s processes and lines of business, contributing to efficient and effective project delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate and participate in problem-solving sessions and workshops with clients, partners, and key collaborators to optimize program-level governance and execution.
  • Develop and deliver communications and presentations for working groups and briefings with government officials.
  • Support the roll-out of complex and confidential Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) files, including securing appropriate authorities, finalizing project schedules, and implementing project management protocols.
  • Liaise across IO and government to ensure efficient program administration.
  • Prepare for and participate in negotiations between the province and other levels of government, including developing sensitive documents and advising on approaches.
  • Maintain and organize SharePoint databases and knowledge repositories, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.

What We Are Looking For

  • A few years’ experience working with or within government to develop complex strategies for senior decision-makers.
  • Experience working in large, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex and confidential projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to find innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and align diverse collaborators around a shared path forward.
  • General knowledge and appreciation of database management and analysis.
  • Experience in performance improvement and multi-level partner negotiations.
  • Relevant professional learnings in areas such as planning, public administration, or government and partner relations.
  • Professional designations such as RPP, PMP, or other relevant credentials are considered assets.
  • Ability to synthesize information clearly and concisely through written reports, presentations, and verbal briefings.

We offer a competitive salary range of $ 82 , 8 00 to $ 1 24 , 1 00 (P4 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
