Summary
Responsibilities
Administers Police Records Information Management Environment (PRIME) and all current and future inter-related police records systems including but not limited to Cornet, Justin, Intellibook, Canadian Justice Intelligence Management system (CJIM) and iScreen (non-criminal finger print system) for TSML. Ensures that PRIME and other related systems operate in support of investigative excellence. Provides on-going training and assistance towards usage of the system to all staff. Represents TSML on cross jurisdictional PRIME committees and attends various meetings to exchange information with other working groups and police agencies.
Duties And Responsibilities
Administers Police Records Information Management Environment (PRIME) and all current and future inter-related police records systems including but not limited to Cornet, Justin, Intellibook, Canadian Justice Intelligence Management system (CJIM) and iScreen (non-criminal finger print system) for TSML by: creating and updating workflow in accordance with administrative and technical standards; configuring and maintaining administrative and system tables in PRIME / Versadex; managing security profiles and application access for both civilian and sworn staff on PRIME and all inter-related record systems; responding to staff requests and acting as a point of contact during system outages; managing access to private files containing sensitive information; ensuring operational procedure manuals reflect current policies; developing, and implementing procedures for new processes as assigned. Ensures that PRIME and other related systems operate in support of investigative excellence by: identifying opportunities for system and internal procedure improvements; conducting user acceptance testing (landing tests) on the PRIME system and inter-related systems as required and amending internal procedures accordingly; assisting the Supervisor in formalizing and presenting business cases towards system improvements; acting as an escalation point for PRIME and related systems towards resolving issues and providing guidance as requested; conducting routine tests to assist with the implementation of new business procedures; executing audits on PRIME/Versadex System as required by the Supervisor. Provides on-going training and assistance towards usage of the system to all staff by: developing training courses, materials and examinations appropriate for the intended audience; executing training for all staff including civilian and sworn and for all new JI recruits in collaboration with other LMD police agencies; preparing and giving presentations on system roll-outs to staff and external agencies as needed. Represents TSML on cross jurisdictional PRIME committees and attends various meetings to exchange information with other working groups and police agencies. Performs related duties as assigned, such being items of a minor nature that do not affect the value of the job.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Requires Grade 12 and courses in police records management system such as Cornet, Justin, Intellibook, CJIM with working knowledge in WebRMS, WebCAD, Versadex/PRIME, iScreen, Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Software.
Experience
Requires three (3) years previous experience in a police environment in PRIME and all current and future inter-related police records systems, with the ability to operate all necessary equipment and software applications used in the related working environment. A further period of up to six (6) months on the job is required to become thoroughly familiar with the TSML policies and standards.

DURATION
Full-Time Regular up to one year.
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Salary: $42.42 hour to $50.95 hour
