Description Du Poste This position anticipates and responds to customers' needs, requests, and issues and interfaces with other departments. They assist in evaluating the selection of carriers and planning the handling of exceptions and service recovery (e.g., in the event of late loads, etc.) to ensure effectiveness, to maintain customer satisfaction, and to manage costs. This position performs other tasks as requested.
Responsibilities Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
Takes ownership of customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
Operates all equipment, software, and devices and trains others.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Qualifications High school diploma , GED, or International equivalent
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift 40+ lbs./18+ kgs.
Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
Additional Criteria
- Job Type: PT Permanent/Hourly - Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
- Hourly Wage: $17.58
- Job Location: 99 Hub Centre Dr, Upper Onslow, NS B6L0C8
- Workdays: Monday to Friday (12 pm to 5 pm) - Must be available to work flexible hours, as scheduling may vary based on operational needs - Required.
