VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a Custom Exterior Door Craftsman to join our growing team. This hands-on role is responsible for assembling, customizing, and finishing high-quality exterior door systems to meet specific customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and experience working with aluminum, steel, fiberglass, or composite door systems. What You’ll Do

• Assemble and customize exterior door systems according to detailed specifications and work orders
• Install and adjust hardware components such as hinges, locks, handles, closers, and thresholds
• Prepare and fit glass, panels, and other inserts as required
• Inspect products at each stage of assembly to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
• Identify and resolve fit or function issues before final delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring tools and materials are properly managed
• Follow all safety and quality control procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and product quality

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in door assembly, fabrication, or a related manufacturing field (residential or commercial)
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Familiarity with door hardware, glazing, and component installation
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precision workmanship
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, and technical specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to custom requirements
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
