About the role
What is the opportunity?
Within RBC Investor Services, the Market Services unit is responsible for driving revenue and NIAT through winning client activities in the markets space including Securities Lending. The incumbent will act as a key subject matter expert within Reporting & Control team, providing advanced analytical and operational support to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
The role plays a critical part in maintaining strong operational risk controls, driving process improvements and supporting business initiatives that enhance client service and operational excellence.
What will you do?
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for client set up and maintenance processes, ensuring profiles are accurate, compliant and aligned with internal policies, contractual and regulatory standards.
- Perform complex data analysis and reconciliation to validate client data to ensure ongoing accuracy and reporting deliverables
- Provide expertise and guidance in support of business and regulatory initiatives coordinating with internal partners to investigate issues and develop sustainable solutions
- Lead or support process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and automate manual workflows.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive operating procedures and documentation, ensuring consistency transparency and compliance across all reporting and control activities.
- Collaborate with Technology and Client Solution teams to define business requirements, conduct user testing, and ensure successful implementation of system enhancements. Contribute to governance and control frameworks, proactively identifying risks, escalating issues, and supporting audit and compliance reviews.
- Act as a resource and mentor to team members sharing expertise, promoting best practices and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Support projects, data analysis and other initiatives that advance the objectives of Reporting and Control function and business.

- Advanced Problem Solving capabilities & high attention to detail

- 3 + years Securities Lending/Finance Experience
- Demonstrated Experience in an Operational environment
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables,vlook up

- University or post graduate degree
