CBC/Radio-Canada’s Content Marketing team are advertising content experts. We work with advertiser brands across TV, digital and social channels to create relevant content for our clients that deepens their relationship with Canadians and drives business results for their bottom line.

Your role

As a Branded Content Adviser, you are an integral part of our Content Marketing team, working closely with the Director to develop, deliver and provide editorial direction for our branded content.

You are a key expert on branded content for our sales teams, supporting our sales reps in bringing partnerships to life. Your responsibilities include developing innovative concepts, collaborating on production (design, scripting, creative direction) and proactively identifying new business opportunities. You also participate in meetings with clients and agencies to generate interest in our branded content offerings and increase revenue.

This role involves exploring and proposing new content ideas for CBC/Radio-Canada clients and implementing those ideas using effective discoverability and promotion strategies across all CBC/Radio-Canada platforms.

You work closely with various in-house Radio-Canada teams (including TV, audio, digital programming, Digital Media, Business & Rights and Communications), and with external production partners as needed, to ensure the feasibility and quality of our content solutions.

By staying on top of content and advertising trends, you help shape our practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of CBC/Radio-Canada’s branded content offerings.

What You Bring:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, advertising, production or writing/design
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience in content creation and/or production (audio, written or digital)
  • Experience producing advertising or branded content in a variety of media (interactive digital, written journalism, audio/video production, social video and television production)
  • Understanding of social media and digital advertising strategies is an asset
