Student PAC Stage Set-Up Crew (Up to 2 Positions) - Department of Music - Faculty of Arts
About the role
The Department of Music is seeking Student Stage Crew to assist with the set-up of department equipment (chairs, music stands, and percussion instruments) when rented by external organizations for concerts and events taking place in the Performing Arts Centre.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set-up and tear-down of department equipment for rehearsals and concerts
- This student will receive a list of equipment from the department chair, and consult with the external client for instructions on the arrangement of the equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preference will be given to senior students
- Preference will be given to percussion majors or Music Ed students who have taken Percussion Techniques
- Must be able to move music equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with band set-up would be an asset
Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
