About The Book Of Record Engineering Team The Book of Record (BOR) team is responsible for keeping track of all the financial assets of our clients. Whether it’s stocks, ETFs or cash, we need to track it accurately and make it highly available for the App, the Website and for internal services. We keep all of this in our ledger, hence we are called the Book of Record team.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) environments
- Perform EBS cloning and upgrade activities, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime
- Implement and maintain environment backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Manage concurrent managers, forms server, web server, and other EBS components
- Apply Oracle-recommended patches and security updates
- Manage user access, security profiles, and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all EBS-related configurations and procedures
- Design, Administer, Maintain, monitor and conduct performance tuning efforts for Oracle E-business suite applications and database
- Ensure Oracle’s scalability and reliability through proactive analysis and thorough capacity planning
- Partner with stakeholders across different product domains, infrastructure, and leadership, driving data related technical problems at scale
- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect EBS data
- Monitor EBS security logs and identify potential security threats
- Apply security patches and updates
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., SOX)
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including technical specifications, code documentation, and progress reports
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide support for critical production issues
What you bring:
- Extensive Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business Suite application experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years' experience providing Oracle DBA support in a LINUX/UNIX environment, of which 3 years must have been working with Oracle 19C and Exadata environments
- Minimum of 5 years providing Oracle E-Business Suite support in a UNIX environment of which 3 years must have been working with Oracle E-Business suite version 12.2
- Deep hands on experience with Oracle EBS/DB Backup and Recovery, partitioning and cloning
- Strong SQL Performance tuning experience
- Experience with AWS cloud platform, specially EC2
- Experience in Python programming and automating change deployment will be considered an asset
- Exposure to Oracle Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) will be considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; this position requires a high degree of involvement leading meetings and regularly communicating to various stakeholders
- We are looking for team players that can work in a very dynamic and challenging environment
- Oracle Certified Professional certification will be an asset
