What You’ll Get To Do:
As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor , you will apply your maintenance expertise and leadership experience to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of heavy industrial equipment. You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical maintenance activities, directing skilled trades personnel, and ensuring work is executed to the highest technical and safety standards.
- Assign and coordinate work orders in accordance with the designated planning flow process
- Assess work priority, develop work scopes, and coordinate maintenance tasks
- Maintain and improve equipment reliability through effective maintenance and equipment upgrades
- Gather accurate estimates of repair time, crew size, and costs of repair
- Investigate equipment failures and trouble-shoot problems, and respond to emergency situations to ensure continuity of operations on a 24/7 basis
Who we are looking for:
- Red Seal Millwright Journeyman certification or equivalent mechanical trade certification.
- Solid understanding of safe work practices and safety regulations
- Supervisory experience in cement manufacturing environment preferred
- Unionized environment experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
