What you'll be doing

The Director will provide specialized analysis and strategic support focused on all aspects of Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) within Treasury and Global Markets. In collaboration with the Senior Director, the incumbent will play a key role in the ongoing development, optimization, and enhancement of the Global Markets’ FTP model. The successful candidate will build a deep understanding of the business’s products and strategies to ensure that FTP methodologies accurately reflect risk, profitability, and funding costs, and are fully aligned with organizational objectives.

How you'll succeed

  • Global Markets Methodology- Act as the primary liaison for the team on all aspects of Global Markets’ FTP methodologies. Attain a thorough understanding of Global Markets initiatives to effectively analyze their effects on FTP and liquidity. Oversee the evaluation and improvement of FTP methodologies to ensure compliance with Treasury objectives, while proactively identifying and executing process enhancement opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management- Collaborate with Global Markets teams to assess how current and prospective trade structures influence overall funding costs. Partner with business units and Capital Markets Finance to discuss and establish suitable FTP rates, ensuring consistency with the HQLA classification and risk characteristics of trading assets. Work closely with Business, Finance, and Technology teams to facilitate the effective incorporation of FTP methodologies and processes in the rollout of new technology platforms.
  • Analysis- Leverage advanced data analytics tools (i.e. Databricks) to extract insights from large datasets and improve decision-making processes. Drive related project initiatives by coordinating cross-functional tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely achievement of key deliverables.

Who you are

  • You are certified. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree, CA or CFA designation is a plus).
  • You can demonstrate experience. 7+ years of experience in Treasury, Liquidity Risk Management, or a related role within the financial services industry. Strong knowledge in Global Markets’ FTP. Knowledge of liquidity metrics, including LCR and NSFR. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III and local liquidity regulations.
  • You are analytical. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • You can demonstrate strong communication skills. Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
